Privacy Policy
Xander Davis & Associates LLC (“XD&A”) wants to ensure that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the https://www.xanderdavis.studio website (the “Site”), how it is used, and the choices you have.
The short version
The Site is a portfolio. It has no user accounts, no sign-up or contact forms, no newsletter and no store, and it does not take payments. It does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and it sets no cookies of its own. You can browse it anonymously.
Information you choose to send us
If you email XD&A (for example at xander@xanderdavis.studio), we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to carry on that conversation, and we keep it for as long as that correspondence is useful to us or as the law requires.
Information collected automatically
The Site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel’s servers record standard technical details about each request — such as your IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page and the time — to deliver the Site, keep it secure and diagnose problems. These logs are kept for a limited period set by Vercel and are not used by XD&A to identify you. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
The Site’s fonts are served from the Site itself, so viewing it does not contact a font service.
Embedded video and audio
Videos on the Site are YouTube videos, shown through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). So that a video plays on the first click, its player and preview image are loaded from YouTube (Google) when the video comes into view — including the reel on the home page — and your browser therefore contacts YouTube when you view those pages. YouTube may store information in your browser and collects information under Google’s Privacy Policy, especially once you play a video. The THE MA7RIX page also embeds a Spotify player, which is governed by Spotify’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies
The Site itself does not set cookies or use your browser’s local storage. The embedded YouTube and Spotify players may use cookies or similar storage under their own policies. You can set your browser to refuse or alert you to cookies; the Site will still work, though an embedded player may not.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, trade, or rent anyone’s personal information. Information is handled by the service providers that run the Site and our email (such as Vercel) only as needed to provide those services, and may be disclosed if required by law.
Security
The Site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you (in practice, any emails you have sent us), or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to xander@xanderdavis.studio.
Third Party Websites
The Site links to other websites and services, including LinkedIn, YouTube, IMDb, GitHub and the sites of partners and clients. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices; browsing and interacting on any other website is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
XD&A may update this Privacy Policy at any time — for example if the Site adds a contact form, analytics or a store. When we do, we revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
Your Acceptance of These Terms
By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and the Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
